that Art Nouveau was influenced by nature and its organic shapes etc, it came very naturally to me to work
on a material that has its roots in nature itself – clay. Later after, I felt very inspired by the typical Art Nouveau designs and used materials. Especially glas. Picking up on the influence of nature and the idea of the four seasons, my main goal was to incorperate these aspects and translate those into objects –
A set of four cups.
Winter, with its serene and crisp atmosphere, is depicted through elegant and stylized representations of snow-covered landscapes. Embracing tones of blue and the purity of white.
Spring, with its renewal and rebirth, is often depicted in Art Nouveau through delicate and intricate floral motifs.
The designs celebrate the blossoming of flowers, the emergence of leaves, and the vibrant colors and lush shades of green that characterize this season.
Summer, a time of warmth and abundance, is portrayed through lush and vibrant depictions of landscapes.
The art of Art Nouveau during this season often features flowing meadows, sun-drenched fields, and the play of light on water. The use of warm colors and fluid lines captures the dynamic energy of summer, creating a sense of joy and vitality.
Autumn, with its rich and earthy tones, is a favorite subject for Art Nouveau designs. The falling leaves, twisting branches, and golden hues characteristic of this season inspire intricate patterns and designs.
